AMBOSELI & TSAVO

Overview

A 4-day mini safari visiting the wilderness of Tsavo West & the iconic Amboseli. This safari will offer some great photographic opportunities with Kilimanjaro as a back drop and the possibility of seeing large herds of elephants as well as the rest of the Big Five, and many other species of birds and mammals.

​Day by day itinerary in brief

Day 1 & 2​ - Tsavo West, Serena Kilaguni
Depart Nairobi for Tsavo West (4.5 hours), a huge wilderness park with many elephants, rhino, leopard, and many other plains mammals. Accommodation is at the wonderfully located Serena Kilaguni situated inside the park, over-looking a watering hole that can have daily visits from elephants and many other plains mammals.  ​

Day 3 & 4 - Amboseli, Kibo Safari Camp​

Head to Amboseli via the Shetani lava flows, a fantastic park with great views of Kilimanjaro and abundant wildlife including herds of elephants and big cats. Accommodation is at Kibo tented camp, located just outside the park, each tent has a comfy bed and en suite shower and toilet, and meals are buffet style. 

Day 5 - Amboseli to Nairobi

After breakfast, you'll head back to Nairobi stopping for lunch along the way.
