About Tanzania

Tanzania is home to Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, it is also a country of vast wilderness areas that are home to the lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, rhino and many other species of bird and mammal. Tanzania is most well known for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro conservation area, a UNESCO World heritage site but there are also many other parks well worth visiting such as Tarangire on the northern circuit.

Tanzania is also well known for its wonderful coastline and the islands of Pemba and Zanzibar, which not only has idyllic white sandy beaches and warm blue turquoise waters but also has other historical and cultural attractions such as Stone Town and its markets and mosques as well as indigenous wildlife.

Activities include; game drives, bush and nature walks, climbing Kilimanjaro (organised as expedition) boat safaris, scuba diving and snorkelling.

One-month single-entry visas (but not multiple-entry visas) are also currently issued on arrival (no matter your provenance) at both Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro International Airports, at the Namanga border post between Tanzania and Kenya.
