Kenya is home to the safari, the Great Wildebeest Migration and iconic parks such as Amboseli and the Masai Mara and is probably the most diverse country in Africa in terms of habitat; from savannahs to mountain regions, rain forests and deserts. There are over 1,100 species of bird, 350 mammal species and 21 endemic species, making it a real nature lovers paradise!
In Kenya you will also find the Great Rift Valley and the Great Lakes, the second highest mountain in Africa and a beautiful coastline with blue waters, white sandy beaches and fantastic marine life! The coastal region is steeped in culture and history, where you will find historical sites such as the Gedi ruins and Fort Jesus in addition to the natural wonders such as Mida Creek and Hell's Kitchen. Activities include game drives, nature & bush walks, boat safaris, balloon flights, horse riding, white water rafting, hiking, mountain walks and mountain climbing (Mount Kenya minimum 3 day climb) and of course water sports such as snorkelling, diving and also sailing along the beautiful Swahili coastline. |
